• Eat healthy?
  • Lose weight?
  • Drink less alcohol?

Here at Wilfley we think more in terms of seal development, Quality initiatives, and metallurgy…

Outside of more involved Goals and Objectives and continuing initiatives (that we can tell you about)…

  • New heavy duty slurry pump
  • New pump selector / configurator
  • New DryLock® 2 / Kpro® / cartridge / slurry / general seal development
  • Bill of materials

…we are going for some general resolutions:

  1. No customer complaints
  2. Raise perceived Quality rating as a company to a 10 out of 10
  3. Sell more pumps

We are going to raise our Quality standard and ensure customer satisfaction. Some of the tools that will help us achieve this include changes and updates to our shipping processes, Quality initiatives with all hands responsible, tag out processes, and more strict standards on cosmetic defects.

Foundry initiatives to go entirely from a green sand base to an air ingress no bake system by 2016 will also be an enormous gain in our Quality standard.

And selling (as always) more pumps?

Selling more pumps and how to do so has been scrutinized. Some of the new processes and advancements primed for our upcoming year include training and development in our sales managers, quarterly no travel week in sales, sales information pipeline from representatives, prioritization of product development in Engineering as often as necessary, and usage of our new Intelliquip pump configurator.

Lose weight? Health? Alcohol?

Well, we haven’t put in place specific plans or processes for those, so it will be interesting to see how those pan out. As far as our progress in pumps go, however, we are aligned for significant improvement and success in 2014.

What are your resolutions? Send us an email at pumps@wilfley.com.

All the best success to you and yours in 2014. We here at Wilfley are honored to be a part of your lives and wish you all the best.

Cheers!
