Wilfley’s Pump Rebuild Program

on October 16, 2013

Wilfley has been rebuilding pumps for our customers since the company was established in 1919. This affordable service, known as the Pump Rebuild Program, includes a full pump inspection and rebuild with new OEM parts. Rebuilt pumps are treated with the same priority as new pumps and are returned to the customer in a timely manner. This is an invaluable service that we provide to our customers… EVERY PUMP MATTERS.

A customer initiates the process by contacting Wilfley customer service to obtain a return authorization number. Once the customer receives this number, he/she will need to fill in a return goods form and sign the decontamination certificate. This will act as the packing slip when shipping the pump.

Pumps must be fully decontaminated and must have their case, impeller, and case plate removed prior to arrival in Denver. Failure to do so will result in the shipment being rejected by Wilfley.

Nesting loose parts (impeller, expeller, case plate) in the case is highly recommended. This will help to prevent any loss or damage during shipping.

Returned pumps will be fully inspected by Wilfley and a proposal will be sent to the customer outlining the parts that need replacing and a schedule for completion. Once the customer agrees to the proposal, the pump is reassembled with new OEM parts and painted. A full range of optional performance tests are also available to meet specific customer requirements. All of the new OEM parts are furnished to the customer with a new pump warranty.

This is yet another way that Wilfley strives to provide excellent service to our customers and to distinguish ourselves from our competition. Contact your local Wilfley representative for more information.
