Wilfley's Model S3 is designed specifically for corrosive/slurry applications. The Model S3 pump comes standard with a dynamic seal feature that requires no seal water, mechanical seals or packing. It delivers reliable service under a variety of operating conditions. The S3 pump offers heavy-duty hydraulic components with a closed impeller to provide long wear life in high wear applications. The power frame is designed for high heads and high-density slurries. Heavy-duty bearings are oil lubricated with labyrinth end covers to prevent oil contamination. The S3 is a proven performer in difficult applications containing corrosive liquids containing solids and in applications with upset conditions such as cavitation and even momentary dry running as is commonly found in loading/off loading applications.
